As we celebrate President’s Day, we think about Washington, Lincoln and other impactful Presidents.
We forget that we are the President of our own lives. We are the ones who choose the direction of our lives, select our cabinet of advisors and decide if we wage war on others (or ourselves).
As President of You, Inc., you are able to set the vision for your future. What are your values and how are you implementing them? What is the theme of your campaign? How compelling is your brand message?
As President of You, Inc., who is on your team? What qualities do you seek for your inner circle? Are your advisors supportive or do they nay say your efforts? Do they share differing views to give you a full 360 perspective?
As President of You, Inc., you choose what conflicts you want to engage in. What do you let upset you and what do you choose to play out or let go.
Often our inner voice is at war with our self, beating us up, second guessing us or questioning if we are good enough. It’s like having the other party of Congress in our heads constantly. It is exhausting and sabotages our visions and dreams.
As we honor past Presidents, remember the power you have as President of your life. Would you vote for yourself?
