A tribute to legend Bob Marley was performed by Sting, Bruno Mars, Rihanna and a star studded band. The singers who received Best Pop Duo/Group Performance paid tribute to long standing artist, Prince, who gave them their award.

We need diverse talents and interest to get new sounds. While we might not initially welcome or like it, time and familiarity often breed openness.
Workplaces, boards and committees can offer a similar dynamic. We have new generations voicing their perspectives. These can be challenging to the status quo, just as rock n roll and Elvis’ moves were in their day.
Finding a way to value the diversity, co-create, incorporate and build from the past generates a new way of thinking.
Inspiration comes from many sources and does not have one sound. We need appreciation of all talents to make award winning music.
