Recently I went trampolining. It was a blast! I took an exercise class bouncing up and down while throwing balls, jumping rope, hula hooping and doing cannonball jumps.

Those of us in the class laughed and were silly. It did not matter if we got the movement just right. We were playful and it felt like being a kid again.

Letting go of adult tapes about

  •  being perfect
  •  looking good and not being embarrassed
  • and taking things so seriously

can be a wonderful stress reducer.

I encourage you to try it. Create a release for yourself where you feel like a kid again. Laugh, play and be willing to be silly. Having fun is good exercise!
