We lost a legend when Paul Newman died over the weekend. He was truly a Renaissance man who was an actor, philanthropist, entrepreneur, husband, activist and race car driver. He made lasting contributions on film, stage and in the community. His line of food products contributed millions to children’s needs and other worthy causes.
His long term marriage to Joanne Woodward, especially in the world of Hollywood, was a testament to his loyalty and character.
He was a down to earth man. He was humble and focused his attention on others. They shined in his eyes. He was willing to be vulnerable. We saw his ability to be both tough on the outside and touching on the inside.
We will miss him and his leadership. He inspired generations and his legacy will continue to shine like his blue eyes.
