Last week when I was playing golf I had the good fortune to par two of the most difficult hole on the course. I never thought I could accomplish this daunting task.

As any golfer will tell you, you can never know what to expect. Surprises abound and anything is possible.

The skills required to be good in golf are similar to those necessary to be an effective leader. You need to have focus, keep your eye on the ball, know the direction you want to go, be patient and not get frustrated and not take yourself or the game too seriously.

With practice, passion and enthusiasm, anything is possible. You never know when you’ll score a par.
