School is starting again. That means new teachers, new classes, new faces and places.

Trying new things is like the first day of school. Stepping out of our comfort zone is like stepping into the classroom for the first time. We do not know what to expect. We do not know what we will experience or the lessons we will learn.

We can get anxious or fearful. We may get excited about unknown possibilities. We can chose how we look at new situations. They can be an adventure with lessons and opportunities for growth. Or we can approach with trepidation and dread. It can feel like earning extra credit or demerits.

Either way, you can grade your effort!
