“I have too much time to get things done,” said no one EVER!
Yesterday we received a gift of an extra hour. How did you use it? Did you sleep, exercise, talk with a friend, connect with a family member, check off a to do list item or relax?
Most of us I am guessing did not check the relax box. We often find it hard to do nothing. To do no thing.
Yet when we give ourselves down time, we are doing something valuable. And we are actually multi-tasking while single tasking. We are giving ourselves permission to unwind, we are becoming more productive because our bodies and minds need time off and we are developing more creativity and focus. We are giving our brains space to clear clutter and imagine.
Making time to unwind can give you additional energy that will translate to being given more than one hour.
And this is a practice you can incorporate daily, not just every fall!
Answer to last week’s Halloween fun trivia question: Several people guessed the correct answer to a witch’s favorite subject in school: Spelling
I’d love to hear how you used your extra hour on Sunday. Please email back and let me know!
