Last week was both the beginning and end of an era as Jimmy Fallon hosted his first week on The Tonight Show, replacing Jay Leno after 22 years.
Jay said in an interview that he thought Jimmy would be able to relate well to a younger audience. In essence, he could better keep up with changing times, trends and technologies.
Staying relevant, regardless of our role, is essential. It is an important component of our brand and value. It keeps us interesting and others curious.
- How do you stay relevant?
- How does your relationship with risk and change impact your ability?
- How do you want to be viewed a year from now?
While you don’t have to keep up with the Kardashians to be successful, you do need to keep up with changing times.
