The Olympic trials have ended and the games will begin soon. The athletes train for years to be good enough to make the team.

Many of us live everyday as if we were qualifying for the Olympics. We put pressure on ourselves to prove that we can do it all or be the best in every endeavor we pursue.

This “trying out” mindset creates stress and anxiety. We are also fearful that we may not make the team. In reality, life is a series of continuous events. It is not one make or break it moment. This anxious state actually slows us down or prevents us from accomplishing what we truly desire.

  • What if there were nothing to prove?
  • What if you were good enough to have already earned a place on the team?
  • What if you didn’t have to break your previous records for time and get it all done at once?

I encourage you to stand on this platform. Try out these beliefs and notice what happens to how you live the race called life.
