I just finished making a video about the Synergy story. I was reminded of three powerful lessons that can be applied to any project.
- Assemble a strong team in whom you have confidence Trusting the people with whom you are working is critical. Because you are focusing on what you do best, you cannot do others’ jobs. Believing in their experience and capabilities is necessary to progress.
- Strive for excellence, not perfection Perfection is the enemy of good. Moving forward when you are pleased with 98{160c7819af59c11da6532971d4da6329afa70521e09652cedd42dbad61fa4f29} of the project can outweigh the delay and frustration caused by 100{160c7819af59c11da6532971d4da6329afa70521e09652cedd42dbad61fa4f29} perfection.
- Ask for help As part of this project I asked for participation from others. Everyone I asked was happy to assist. We are often hesitant to ask for help. We don’t want to impose or appear needy. I find people are happy to help if we just ask. We are our limiting barrier.
These lessons are good to remember when we embark on any new venture.
I am thrilled to share the Synergy brand video with you. Click here to see. Let me know what you think.
