Most of us are buying presents to give to others at this time of year. We hope they like and will be able to use what we give. We don’t usually shop for ourselves.
A friend sent me this gift list and I wanted to share it with you. Here is a list of 10 things to give yourself in the coming year. The good news is that they will not cost you any additional money. I guarantee you can use them.

- A Challenge Strive for something slightly beyond your reach that may cause butterflies in your belly.
- Good Health Take care of yourself. You are responsible for this one.
- A Little “Down Time” Give yourself permission. Don’t wait for others to give it to you.
- Forgiveness Forgive yourself for the mistakes you make. Learn and let go.
- Courage Continue to act and move forward even in the face of fear.
- Confidence Believe in yourself.
- A Break Stop being so hard on yourself.
- A Compliment Every day, acknowledge something you did well or tried that was new.
- An Optimistic Outlook Choose your attitude and perspective. It is what you say it will be.
This year you don’t have to re-gift or return any of these presents!
