What is One Secret to Happiness? Many of us made resolutions for the new year. We resolved to be skinnier, more fit, productive and organized. We were going to do less binge watching, spend more time with family and connect with friends and loved ones with greater frequency.

The result of these resolutions, a number of which may have been broken by now, was to make us happier. If you’ve already gone off the wagon, don’t fret. You can still obtain happiness.

The secret is to become more conscious about the scarcity of time. Ask yourself, if this were your last year or the last vacation you ever took,

  1. What would you be doing?
  2. With whom would you be hanging?
  3. Where would you be going?

When we focus on the preciousness of time, we are less likely to waste it. We become more focused, discerning and committed to following through on our intentions.

In short, we truly live in alignment with our values. And that is when time expands and happiness emerges

This year, resolve to focus on the preciousness of time. It may lead to a happier new year!
